Welcome to The Little Loomhouse, a fiber arts education organization supported by the Lou Tate Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit.  Our mission is to continue the legacy of founder Lou Tate, master weaver, by ensuring the preservation of The Little Loomhouse landmark cabins and by educating students of all ages about the history of weaving and textile arts through diverse programs, residencies, and community partnerships.


Hours of operation

June 1 – August 11:   Tuesday-Friday  10am – 3pm    Saturday  11am – 4pm

August 12 – May 31:    Wednesday-Friday 10am – 2pm     Saturday  11am – 4pm

Cultural Pass Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday  11 am – 3 pm

For your visit to The Little Loomhouse, we recommend you wear comfortable closed-toe shoes, with a back, suitable for walking over gravel surfaces.
