Weaving Overshot Class with Eliza Rehard

Join Little Loomhouse Resident Artist, Eliza Rehard to learn and practice overshot weaving. Participants will take home a small woven piece.  This is one of three different classes Rehard is offering as a part of her Residency. It is appropriate for ages 12 and up, and there is a $10 supply fee. Please call 502-367-4792 to register. Class size is very limited, social distancing and masks are required. Additional COVID safety measures include running a HEPA filter in the Studio to clean circulating air.

Eliza Rehard is a fiber artist, working in hand embroidery, sewing, quilting, and weaving. She is a recent transplant to Louisville, where she has found home in many ways, especially among the local communities of creatives and makers. She has been working with textiles from an early age with support and guidance from her grandmother, mother, and the brilliant women they worked with. Rehard has studied Intensive Weaving at Earlham College and Introduction to Painting; Silk Screen Techniques at Cincinnati Art Academy. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Earlham College in English and Creative Writing.
