Join us in creating a piece of hand-woven wearable art.  We will be creating a Hapi Wrap.    Please select yarn for a E.P.I 8-10-12.  Please no smaller than 12 E.P.I.   Piece will be woven in two pieces.  Finished piece will be 50” wide by 55” long plus 4” fringe.   Pick yarn in colors and textures you would like.  NOTE:  the variegated yarn that is sold makes for interesting color patterns.  Please estimate your warp and weft by the E.P.I. of your work.  If you need assistance with help estimating how much yardage you will require in your chosen yarn, please call.

Instructor:  Lorraine Andersen.    Though I am new to Louisville, I am not new to weaving.  I took up weaving about 35 years ago and learned from a master craftsman.  I have taught both introductory and advanced weaving classes in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.   I love both the texture and color that can be used to make interesting woven pieces.
