Geraldine “Geri” Roberts (1943-2020) was a South Louisville Community member, ceramicist, teacher, and friend to many. She retired from Norton Audubon Hospital after more than 20 years of service and a later-in-life pottery class developed into a passion. She was a long-time member of the Louisville Artisans Guild and taught classes through Louisville Parks and Recreation at Beechmont Community Center. She exhibited and sold her creations at arts and crafts fairs throughout the region and won multiple awards at the Kentucky State Fair.

With permission from her loving husband, David Roberts, the Lou Tate Gallery will be hosting a Celebration Life Memorial Ceramic Exhibition from April 10th – May 8th, 2021 with a Celebration of Life Exhibition Opening, free and open to the public, Saturday, April 10 from 2-4pm. Maintaining social distance and masks are required.

Proceeds for sales from her work will go to the Louisville Zoo by request of her family.
